Remote Search Tool - «My Dictionary»

Our website has recently released a Remote Search Tool - «My Dictionary». See the demo images below for full features. You can easily add the Uyghur - English dictionary search box to your own website if you know how play with HTML code. Once you have this tool installed, your visitors will be able to search our dictionary within your web. You can use any of the following examples to personalize YOUR search box:

Step-by-step instructions for adding «My Dictionary» to your site:

0. You agree to keep the copyright notice «© www.uyghurdictionary.org» attached to the search box.
1. Download the «My Dictionary» .ZIP file from here. See also online demo 1 and online demo 2.
2. Unzip the file into a directory.
3. Click the code in the box below, right-click to copy it, then paste it inside the <head>...</head> tags of your page.

4. Click the code in the box below, right-click to copy it, then replace (or add the events into) the <body> tag of your page.

5. Click the code in the box below, right-click to copy it, then paste it wherever you want the search box to appear on your page.

*6. You may need to modify/change the position of the Result Box (id=UyghurDictionaryOrgResult) to place it in an appropriate position. To do so, open the UyghurDictionaryOrgSearch.css and edit the value of the UyghurDictionaryOrgResult.

Useful information about the structure of «My Dictionary»

Note: The rapidity of the auto-suggestion depends on the speed of your internet connection. If the keyword does not appear in the auto-suggest box, it means no results were found. You are allowed to modify tag names, the variables and others if you know what you are doing. Please keep in mind STEP 0 and DO LET US KNOW if you add new functions or encounter any problems.
